Our journey began on December 28, 2005, with the vision of Engineer Abdul Latif, our Managing Director, (B.Sc. Civil Engineering, RUET) Mrs. Farhana Yesmin, our Chairman (Masters in Political Science, DU), and their maiden venture Best Builders & Designer laid the foundation for Basic Builders Limited with a mission to create modern, high-quality residential complex that will help tackle the issue of settlement and unemployment in Dhaka.
Now Basic Builders Limited is one of the fastest-growing organizations in the real estate development Sector of Bangladesh. Over the years, we have gained invaluable experience in delivering high-quality residential and commercial developments. with the support of a skilled and dedicated team, basic builders Limited has grown into a trusted leader in the real estate sector. Our vision is to construct modern and sustainable projects while building long-term, friendly relationship with landowners and customers alike.
Since then, we have delivered 205 completed projects, with 92+ ongoing & upcoming development projects in Dhaka’s prime locations. With a workforce of nearly skilled professionals. Bangladesh is a densely populated and developing country, and its greatest challenges are housing and unemployment —major issues that cannot be solved by the Government alone. With this in mind, I, Engr. Abdul Latif (B.Sc. Engineer, Civil, RUET), together with my wife, Mrs. Farhana Yesmin (Masters in Political Science, DU), established Basic Builders Limited on 28th December 2005. Our goal was to generate employment and to contribute to the nation by developing modern residential and commercial complexes in different parts of Bangladesh.

Message
Dhaka is now recognized as the second most populous city in the world, making the housing sector increasingly challenging and ever more important. Growing up in this reality, and inspired by my family’s values, I chose Civil Engineering as my field of study to understand how responsible construction and thoughtful development can help address the nation’s housing needs. I completed my undergraduate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) from North South University (NSU), motivated by my parents’ dream of serving the country through the creation of employment opportunities and dignified housing for families.
Carrying forward this vision, I am proud to be part of Basic Builders Limited, an organization built on integrity, responsibility, and long-term commitment. We strive not only to construct quality homes, but also to contribute positively to communities and the future growth of Dhaka.
